I have another site to add to your list.... www.InTheRooms.com

I can't begin to explain the feeling you get from the largest online support group. They call it a meeting in between meetings. That saying could not be any closer to the truth.

Another key component, I believe, is to help the family members understand the disease of alcoholism (which can help explain why all of the talking, fighting, promises, deals...have not worked), understand what has happened to them as a result of loving and living with an alcoholic (or alcohol abuser on the path to alcohol addiction) and learn what they can do to help themselves -- all of which can then also help the alcoholic find/seek treatment.
